The United States is committed to seeing peace in the region and with respect to borders, there is probably no other American Administration as committed as the Trump Administration to supporting nations’ interests in their borders.
Cambodia would do well to pursue both priorities: peace and border security, and it can and should continue to press upon Thailand to honor its obligations under the US-brokered ceasefire agreement, which its military violates with its occupation of Cambodia territory.
